I just bought7 red terrors about an inch in size some ate some flakes as soon as they where dropped in the tank. Should i also add brine shrimp to there food list or just stick to flakes. They are in a 75 gallon grow out tank when they get a couple inches they will be placed in a 240 let me know what you thinki should feed them also would black worms be alright

Yes variety in diet is key to a healthy fish. Use the flake as a staple and then start using cichlid pellets as they get bigger. But like three times a week feed them either brine shrimp or bloodworms, krill, safe live foods like insects or if you have a clean supply of live fish they will appreciate that a lot. I have also found they loove live earthworms.
