Red Texas and Carpintis 'lahillas' laid eggs

so...I have an 8 inch female F0 Carpintis 'Lahillas' (Lago Lahillas, Mexico) and was holding a 10 inch Red Texas for a friend...and I woke up this morning to find the Carpintis had laid eggs.

Are Red Texas's sterile?

I think if hes able to fertilize, they might come out pretty nice looking. The female is more blue than she appears. The flash blows out the blue in her, making her look like she has gold, which she doesnt.


What do you guys think?
