We'll my red texas i got from petsmart has gotten bloated or so it would seem. On one side hes pretty bloated and its come to a point like a large cyst. Hes in a ten gallon with 3 giant danios the temps at 80f ( i know tanks pretty small ) but hes only 1.5'' and i have several larger tanks.

I did a 50% water change then added a jungle parasite clear fizzing tablet because it has Metrozidazole in it. The next day i added another 3/4ths of a parasite clear tablet. Next day i did a 50% water change added about a teaspoon of epsom salt and a little bit of malafix. So far hes not much better it may just take more time. Is there anything else i should do ?

Hes been eating tetra brand cichlid flakes, some green cichlid gold pellets ( he doesn't really like them ), blood worms and some krill I've also tried feeding him blanched zukini and apples but he didn't really go for it so i'm going to pick up a more vegetable flake or pellet

with trophs i get them to eat food that was soaked in metro and that does the trick every time. if they didnt eat it chances were that they died even with a metro bath.

also may want to change water everyday 50% and double dose with salt or epsom salt and gradually jack the temp up to like 83- 84

We'll hes still alive i hope thats a good sign one side seems to be getting better but his left side is still really bloated but might be going down a little

Been doing 20-40% water changes everyday and adding epsom and regular salt to the tank. Hes hasn't eaten for about 4 days now which really worries me. I'm thinking about adding another parasite tab
