I just got them so no eggs or frys yet, there going into a bigger tank that's just temporarily , didn't plan on getting them, my friend gave them to me so it was a total surprise. He said the female has laid eggs several times , he tried to breed them but the male he said is way to aggressive. So I'm gonna put a divider up and wait till they are ready. If he's not fertile I'm gonna try to breed her with this one...

I'm a newbie to red texas etc ...I'm not 100% sure on the response I gave earlier on whether Red Texas males are sterile --I thought I read on here that they are --I was just asking for clarification =]

Same as all hybrids, its the luck of the draw. I know they exist, but its not too often you run across them.
