if i have a red texas....and i breed it with another red texas....will i get a higher percentage of red texas?

thanks in advance...

Q: if you cross RT x RT, what else could you get besides RT?

note: I am not trying to be a wise-ass, I just don't see what else could result . . . maybe some would be higher grade than others? thanks . . .

sorry, let me clarify. i took what the op said as if he was referring as SRT.

but you would be correct on your follow up question. RT x RT = RT/SRT

some will be higher grade then others. also just because you purchase a SRT and then get another (from either the same source or a different one). this don't mean all the babies will be faders. it's real hard to tell if you get stable fishes. stable meaning breeding true. ;)

also just a heads up there is a low fertility rate on the srt males.

thanks for the feedback...it was very helpful.

also, can you breed a srt to a carpintis and still get some srt out of it as well....but just not as much?
