I have a 3-4" red texas cichlid and recently his lips and fins and eyes are turning black. I know blood parrots get black spots when they are stressed. Maybe he is a tex x blood parrot. But I can't see why he would be stressed. Has anyone seen this before.

That's not a red texas, its a red devil or midas, nice one too. Usually they fade from black to white though.

It was sold as a red texas. I thought it looked like a red devil bet was hoping it wasn't. Is it a definite that its a red devil. I'll try and get a better pic.
