I know that these are hybrids, and I finally found out what they were called, as I have always seen the pictures of them.

I would love to have one.

I'm assuming they are like a flowerhorn- Get large, and have to be by themselves? Or can I put something else with him? And what size tank is suitable?

Any info would be great.

Got a few empty tanks that need filling up!

Being a hybrid, like the ***erhorn, I'd stick the fish in a single showpiece tank...It is big, bad, and beutiful.....

55-75 gallon would most likely be fine for a red texas....or a tank that's 36" in length and 18" front to back.

:)

no less than a 55 gallon imo

i have a soon to be empty 75

Look in hybrid section someone posted ones hes had for a year or two from couple inches. They get huge, a 55 or a 3 foot tank that was suggested is retarded. Id go look for that thread it has all the info youd want, and its better than most here
