well first of all i got another 150 gallon tank got two albino oscars and 1 jack dempsey and then i went and seen that petsmart had red texas cichlids so i got two of em? do you think this will work or ill have to seperate them? thanks

Pet smart texas is not really red texas. They are a flowerhorn and they are very aggressive species. They'll be OK for now because they are smaller but as they grow older, your Oscars and JD don't stand a chance against those two. I would just return Petsmart fish unless you want to keep flowerhorn.

I have 2 petsmart "red Texas"(really kamfa FHs) in my CA/SA tank which includes a Dempsey, Oscar and a few others. They do fine but my Oscar is much larger than them and the tank is 240 gallons. Right now the FHs are reaching around 5.5" and they don't really bother the fish that are their size.
On the other hand, I did have a zz fh in there originally that when she hit 4" she had to be removed.
I would go ahead and try it ad you've already bought them just keep in mind that if they get too aggressive you'll need to rehome somebody.
