Red Texas ID Please...

I ordered this through my supplier as a RED TEXAS, however the body shape looks to be something else (Mainly head/nose area).

I never had one of these before, but hopefully someone could chime in on what they think this could possibly be. Coloring/spotting is exactly like red texas.

that's a nice red texas. just needs nourishment. Looks older than the size from the eye balls.

It is a red texas. Not now, but it's gonna be a very nice one later on.

Just got him the other day. Any idea what the black markings are and if they go away?

Looks like its almost done fading. Black marks should disappear when its done fading.

Looks like a Red Texas strain, can't wait to see this one grow up!!!! Fatten him up!!!
 
Great fish. Nice pic up, he needs some food, that's all. You will plump him up.
