Could I keep a male Red Texas in a 30 gallon tank? I have Him in a 60 gallon tank with A female but the female just died and it seems like a waste of space... He's about 6-8""

Let me know what you think.. Thanks!

Sounds a little small. I'm sure he'd like some swimming room but he'd probably be ok in there short term.

Yeah.. It does sound a little small... How long do you think he could stay in there?

Probably a couple weeks. He might get stressed out because its a smaller tank and hide a lot more. I've done the opposite. I put a 7" middevil in a my 29 gallon QT tank and he was very skittish but once i moved him to my 75 gallon I'd see him a bit more.

I'll just keep him in the 60 gallon or sell him. Thanks for the advise. Lol
