I'm asking $80 obo. Fish is about 6-7 inches long. Prefer pick-up or to meet half way. Located in Kent, OH 44240.

Thanks,

Bump for a Nice looking Red Texas! Is it a male or female?

I was unsure...but I think him and my female green Texas just spawned! If the eggs hatch...that would mean it's a boy! We'll see shortly!

Hey demjor19, how are your guys? How are the frys?

Female ate the first batch of eggs while I was removing some distracting tankmates (I must have stressed her). Her and the Red Tex are back at it already though. Not sure how long it will take for her to produce more eggs?

Well, I think you should keep him around. I'm not sure but didn't you post other threads about your RT. I believe I saw a thread about how lovely he was fading.

That's what we decided to do. We recently lost our Dovii while we were on vacation (things never go wrong when youre around to fix them), so we have his old tank to keep the red texas and his mate in. I also have a female SB Texas that I would like to try breeding with my Red Texas, so we have a few future projects planned for the red texas.

I'll definitely put some of the fry up for sale if the breedings are successfull!

Thanks,

I'm sorry for your lost. I believe with every disappointment forwards a rewarding surprise. I'm glad you decided to keep your RT. Keep me posted and good luck with the projects.
