red Texas or a flower horn

Personally, the only thing I'd keep a Flowerhorn with is a pleco at a decent size.. however, some people have luck with it if the have the tank size and specific decor n such..

What size tank and decor?? I have a 125 with a 13" Florida Gar a 8" F1 La Cebia Freddy a 13" ornate with 2 marine land bio wheel 400 2 sponge filters and a cascade 1200 canister filter

You should be okay I'm assuming, 125 gallon is pretty big.
Flowerhorn like to be by themselves or sometimes with bottom dwellers with hiding spaces so they wont get in the way of the flowerhorn. There great centerpiece fish and to show their true behavior/personality/colors, there best with just 1 or 2 other fish (pleco and/or non active catfish) in the tank.

But hey, if you have success then I'm happy for ya! :headbang2
