red texas or jus a regular texas cichlid

i baught this texas cuz i thot it was a red texas..ive never seen a regular texas cichlid with the red tint or tha stipes on him/her..can anyone tell if its a red texas or a regular texas?View attachment 2012-05-01 13.44.42.jpg

it looks like a texas ...right shape. just not a red, how long has it been in there is that jd beating it up, could be stressed,

cover up some of those sides and your colours will show better then take some pics, re post and we`ll go from there

If you got it from Petsmart then its a Kamfa Flowerhorn.

From the looks of it has stripe line in its body but I do some some greens dots mix with Texas but I could be wrong Texas x con from my point of view lol

Stripes are stress bars and not from Convict. But like I said if the person bought it from Petsmart or the store it was bought from got it from Segrest then its a Kamfa Flowerhorn.
