Thanks! Yeah, I brought it up on a CA Cichlid Facebook group and some members said essentially the same thing plus they mentioned there's something about the mouth which is another indicator.
I was going to mention the mouth...

See how his mouth is flat, while yours is upturned.

What type of fish are Thai green texas with an upturned mouth? Is it a special Thai morph of Carpinti or unfading RT?

Some kind of FH, another sign that it's not a pure Carpinitis is that giant KOK, Carpinitis doesn't grow those. The forehead will push out someimages.jpeg-2.jpg

In order not to clog the topic, I will add a couple of photos and a link to the video. My SRT with a flat mouth, Carpinti with a large kok (sold near me for $ 80). In the video, the author explains the origins of the Thai green texas. This fish can be marketed as super pearly RT.
