Many tried but not many accomplished nor had the patients I'm ready!!!!!! My male Texas never let me down my parrot is young but many I say many said it was a male.... Another lesson I learned advice is great but learning on your own is even better here's my pair and their LABOR DAY SPAWN......

I thought the red texas was brought about by breeding the king kong parrot or red mammon aka super king kong parrot?

there will be very few keepers from these two as they produce the lowest quality type of rt.

U right .....But I've seen quality red texas come from breeding these 2 so its possible I no a few breeders who started from a Texas and a parrot and have quality Red Texas its all about time and paitients

You will get all kinds of different looking fish from this initial crossing. Personally I used a female kkp with a big head to try to avoid the ugly long face in the fry. Testing 3 males from carpintis x kkp for fertility right now (hoping to cross with female srt or RED kamfa). Good luck!!!

I no what I'm getting into that's why its called a hobby I could of just brought 2 of them and called it the day but that's not fun that's really not your masterpiece its not urs lol....I have this female on the way now so ill be good ......
