red texas question

hey how are we pretty new to the whole red texas thing but to my
understanding u need a kkp to get the fader gene but could u also use
a rose queen that has the fader in it thanks

This seems to be the hottest topic. If it were me, and I had the tank space to do it, I would drop the coin on a grade A K.K.P or Darmo. These fish were specifically bred for this trait. Also I would go to a respected breeder to buy my male Texas Cichlid to ensure that I am getting good genetics from the father. You might have to spend more initially, but you will have a lot of your time and effort in this.

thanks mate very helpful! do u have experience in this because ive got a female texas that i was goin to breed with my cuban but i lost him the other day (upside down asian swallowed) but now i wanna breed her with a red devil and the red devils available has the fading gene all of them are about 3-4 inchs and almost completly black?
