I keep seeing pics of this fish..and it is beautiful, but i was wondering what makes a red texas? i know its a hybrid, but of what. And also how is it aggressive wise, is it similar to a standard texas or is it closer to the lines of a flowerhorn where its hard to keep it with other fish? thanks for your help.

red devil/texas cross

can be very mean
i've seen a texas take over a 55 when it hits 6-7" so you never know

My RT is VERY aggressive. He is a big boy and he won't tolerate anything else with him in his tank. He still tries to attack me when I do a water change. :screwy:

depends on the personality of te particular fish. i have seen some dominant r/t's before and i have seen some get straight pimped, yo. by nature they are aggressive. i have only owned a pure red devil/texas mix( mom texas, dad red devil). never a super red texas
