Sorry, but I tried searching the threads and I'm still a bit confuse;
  1. Difference between peeling and fading, or are they the same thing? Which one is where the FH gets black patches and changes colors?
  2. Red Texas grades, does it go; A grade RT, AA RT, AAA RT, and then SRT? SRT is a RT that completely fades/peel right?
  3. My RT seems to be getting redder, but he's not getting black patches though. The flowerline seems to be fading and getting red. All the gray area is getting red. Will he get completely red and then "fade" or "peel"?
  4. The areas on my RT that are orange, will they get darker?
  5. The flowerling on my RT is disappearing, will it reappear?
My guy is consider a RT right? Although the flowerline is getting lighter. 2.5"

If I am not mistaken peeling is when the darker color is being replaced with the light color whats happening with mine:

Color will fade or lighten when a fish a stressed or over a really light substrate. Yours is just developing its colors. Flowers will sometimes disappear when they get stressed. Have you tested you water recently?

1. They mean the same thing. Not all fish will turn "black". Some faders are light grey or might not even get darker prior to fading. Usually they darken up though.

2. Red tex are graded a bit different. I believe ZZ is the only FH graded by the AAA grade scale. Kamfa has different scale. For instance RTs are judged on mostly by the brightness of the reds. A SRT will be bright red, Not oranges or pinks. SRT also need good well wrapped fins, even pearling, kok, and good body shape.

3. There is no telling how red your fish will get at this point. With the variation of RT you have I doubt he will turn black. He will just continue to get brighter reds, and the better care and foods he gets the more red and better he will look.

4. They will get redder.

5. Probably not, RT are not known for their flowerlines. But it may, Hard to say for sure when its that young.

As of now, Low-quality Red texas. But he does have decent amount of red showing for being so young so he may bloom into a beauty.
