Alright guys, you probably remember when i was sellin babies before. well time came when i had to leave. so i took a scoop of babies with me, 8 of them. Today something amazing happened, one started turning orange on me. It is up for sale now. I dont exactly know what to charge for this fish, so im gonna put a VERY loose 100 dollars shipped. You can negociate now, only reason im putting a price is because i have to. I wanna know what you would pay. He is getting more orange everday. I am in Boise Idaho. My email is goodmike@gmail.com. In the next few months im going to have to sell the parents as a breeding pair too, let me know what you think they are worth as well.

like i said, it is changing everyday. those pics were taken the first day he turned any color. now most of his black is gone, it is begining to get spots. ill post new pics soon

the RT i've seen don't get there colors in until they are about 8months old. They all look like ugly peices of tish until they get older. Nice pics Mike!

i have seen before and actually right now at my lfs they have still have one left that is under 3 inches and red with defined white spots. if they are going to be red in the end they are usually red at that size.

i have a great idea, dont sit and argue things my MY FOR SALE thread. if you dont wanna buy it, then dont. if you are interested or have somthing constructive to say, go for it. i have seen alot of VERY NICE red texas that DO NOT color up until they are 4+ inches. i have seen some VERY UGLY red tex babies that turn out AMAZING. I have been looking around at these fish for a very long time now. just because you have seen a couple that are red at a small size, doesnt mean they all are. This fish may end up staying a nice orange color, or it may turn red, either way it will be a very nice looking fish. Thanks

I like him. I really like the stubby body
hey kory, that's what i noticed too... could it be a shortbody RedTex? looks pretty cool...seen some similar looking, at other sites.

Anyways, Hey GoodMike... fish looks good bro! really good! Good luck w/ the sale! I'd get it, but already got one from koliveria! :headbang2 man, i love Red Texs!
