Do you think a red texas is a good buy

Yes and No.....Yes because they are pure beauties if there spangles and reds are well pronounced. They also have a very owner interactive way about them. No because they are extremely aggressive and will usually fight with anything and everything in their tank. So its a beautiful fish that usually has to be kept alone, and the nice ones (SRT's) have a big big price tag....
