21 f1 selects out of 3 full batches of fry, with one fader so far. i culled pretty hard due to lack of space and made sure to only keep ones with full pearl coverage like picture included,,ive got some that look much better than him but hes the largest i have so far. what are the odds that id have a fertile male or egg laying female within those 21 fish. id think its pretty terrible odds but not sure,,first time making these hybrids

I think you will likely have way better odds getting a fertile female than a male. Males from my fry that I had previously kept were not fertile only females. I did not continue with this project as space was an issue.
