These guys are being sold on aquabid as red tiger flowerhorns. Can any flowerhorn guru tell me why they're called red tigers? Are they a new strain or have certain physical characteristics?
They are called red tiger just cause that's what the breeder named the strain. Look like two different fish though in the three pics there? One looks like the bubble head strain and the other Thai zz? Nice fish though what's the $tag on them?
1st one 5" buy-it-now at $140 from Thailand to US.
2nd one 6", I am getting it for $140 from Thailand to US.
There is a separate cost from the transhipper in US overnight to my door.
Thanks. So any breeders can call their flowerhorns whatever they feel like? They can name them however they want? I thought there are standards based on strain and looks? I have seem other tiger flowerhorns
These guys are also called tiger flowerhorns but they all look totally different from each other.
There is one more different looking tiger flowerhorn but I have to dig that pic up later.
