i've had this guy for around 5 weeks now and man, he's put on a lot of size. he came in a teeny 3.5" or so and very thin. now he's around 5" and eats like crazy 
his colors have gotten considerably darker lately after i started feeing him this pellet food from angelsplus.com. this stuff has like garlic and paprika - after eating this for a few days his colors changed dramatically. he reminds me why i was nuts about Central American cichlids for a long time.
