Red Tiger Motaguense ! any extraa info??!

hi guys i just picked up this guy at my local fish store , i was suprised to see a red tiger because u barely see them in alot of stores. he is about 5 inches and looks to be very healthy... he was 40 $ , so i couldnt pass him up. i know that these fish do get big and they do end up being very aggressive. for right now he is in my 150 with a oscar, red isletas, small red devil and a small managuense but he will get moved as soon as i set up another tank.... so if you guys have any extra info on this guy it will be very appreciated ...thanksss

I think your he is a she and a very beautiful female. Nice pick up. There pretty much the same as your Jag.

yea its a she nice 1 to female 8 to 10 inches they do get agressive usally worse when breeding and paired off shold be ok in a 150 with the others they can hold there own rite now i have a pair male about 12 inch an female 8 an a half realy good fish to own

thats a female rtm a nice one at that....they are more aggro than most cichlids, treat it like u would treat a jag just a smaller version....

As already stated... looks female and you should treat the RTM as you would a Jag.
