Seems like the males are harder to find than the females. How long ago did you get that one from rapps? What size is it now? How does it get along with its tankmates?
I actaully picked it up from work where it sat in a tank for two months! I brought her home April of '06 as one of my "starter" fish in my 125 gallon. Now she is about 6.5" and gets along just fine. I do however have a heavily stocked tank, which might explain the lack of aggression that I was expecting. The only occasional spat is with the larger flowerhorn, which you can see a little of in the second pic.
Awesome fish, I love ours they are by far my favorite fish and we have our 1st batch of fry from them, I managed to take some out and put them in our 10. I left some with mom and dad so hopefully either way I can have some to grow out and give away.
