i was thinking of getting a pair of likoma and putting them in my 55g with my 6" blue dolphin, 6" strawberry, 3 1/2" tangerine, 3 1/2" red shoulder would this work would the peacocks fight over the female being n the tank

What species is the 'red top likoma'? Only species I can think of with that nickname is Cynotilapia afra Likoma..... and that's an mbuna.
If you have an all-male tank already, I wouldn't add in a single female of anything. Odds are she'll end up dead at one point or another - even with more passive species. Something about the potential to pass on their seed will encourage males to harass her into spawning.
