As a lot of you know I have a hystrix stingray. I started buying red wigglers for him. And there actually doing good in a 5 gallon bucket I'm through fruit fish food pellets and other things in there for the worms to eat before I feed them to my stingray along with feeding him ghost shrimp do you guys think that these worms could be a main diet for him or still vary it up just and thoughts or ideas from your guys and girls on here are all welcome

you can keep feeding him them often. in most cases, it is very hard to get young rays to eat other types of foods. variety is better for them, but don't starve them to deathh to try implementing variety.

mine wouldn't take anything but earthworms until the last few months. they are approx 2.5 yrs old each. now they will eat tilapia and sole, but still refuse silversides, prawn/shrimp, firemedic gelatin based homemade type food, massivore/pellets. in time, they will move onto other things.

if they are kept strictly on 1 thing for their entire lives, they can be missing out on nutrients that the singular food might not supply them.
