I believe they stay around 12" max compared to the common 30" for hoplias malabricus..........don't know how aggressive they are compared to a common but i would believe it's almost as bad......

they stay smaller. I have 2, each in its own tank. Thget are agressive like the Malabaricus in terms of their size.

Red wolves get to be about 8-9" in aquariums on average. Mala's can reach up to 24" depending on varient, but usually max out around 17-18" or so.
