can wolves have tankmates of any kind?

i successfully kept a red wolf with misc. sa/ca cichlids, silver aro, misc. catfish in a
150g tank. BUT all fish were not full grown the wolf was about 6".

From what I know...anything that is the not able to be eaten. Red wolves are aggressive to each other but other fish the same size or bigger should be fine...good luck...;)

mine is in a small grow out tank but won't live with anything it tortured a gourami and killed a convict

I'm currently keeping my 6" Red Wolf in a 120g with the following.. Fire eel, bichirs, rope fish, convict pair and a small dovii that is growing out.

He got in one little scuffle with the male con but the con has learned not to do that anymore.

Pretty much if they can't swallow it then they will be fine together.

i kept my red in a similiar set up to Mud's, no cons or dovii though. also kept one with three gold wolffish. never had a problem from the red with any tankmates.

Yea the dovii and cons are just temporarily growing out in there ;)

I do like having some mid to upper water traffic with them in there though.
