I noticed about a week ago my female red zebra was holding, didn't know for how long.
I assumed that they were the babies of the blue zebra i had in there too. So today, they hatched, still in her mouth. I could tell because she was sneaking little pieces of flake...
So i look in her mouth... they are all BLACK. She must have crossed with the bumblebee.... And from what i have heard those are some mean *** fish that will kill anything in the tank. Lol. Ill post pics when she spits them. For now she goes in a 10 gal holding tank.

Red Zebras are mean as hell as it is. You've got yourself some killers. Haha.

Yeah, im not sure what i will do with them. Nobody will probably want to buy them... I might try to keep a couple in my 110 show tank. We'll see.

Of my blue and red zebras? Want to see a pic of my bumble too? :)

Ok well i really suck at taking pictures. I am not sure which is the father for SURE yet, so ill post of the bumblebee and blue zebra. plus the mommy of course. The blue in the zebra looks washed out in the pic. But its not IRL.

I'm located in redding California. I'm not sure how to ship. Never done it before so i don't know what to say...

(Dont mind the cheesy colored plants and gravel, its not permanent.)

you can either keep them for yourself, or cull them. I wouldn't distribute hybrids.

agreed- we got enuff hybrids making the cichlid hobby a minefield to jump over over the place

Time for some incredibly sucky pics. I couldn't get the camera focused on the fish so they're all really blurry, but here u go. Only about 6 of em survived. i found about 20 dead ones in the tank right after she spat them out. No idea why they died.

(in the last pic u can see a couple of my convict fry too :)
