Red Zebra fry problems Halp

I have about 25 baby red zebras about 2-3 weeks old and they have black spots on their heads and a few on thier bodies. I was wondering if anyone else has red zebra babies and if they have the spots too so I can know if they are sick or if they are just normal skin color. If this has to do with anything the red zebra female didnt breed with a red zebra I think it bred with a blue johanni or some other african in my tank. Any comment at all would help.

i hink it mite be yer cus i have raised about 50 or so gresharki's and they have never had the spots, i have a female at the moment with eggs in her mouth and as soon as she spits i will tell u wat they are like

well my zebras that bred in my mbuna community 1 of the 3 babies that survived has a black spot on it it doesn't seem to have any diffuculties in anything

pics? pretty sure they came from the johanni though. i wouldn't worry about the spots too much.

Yes they dont appear to be acting funny it might just be that they are ob zebras due to the johanni. I would upload pics but it is too hard to get pics of the fry when they are that small and they run from anyone that comes near the 10 gallon theyre in.
