Red Zebras

well, what else do you that is not a mbuna like the zebra? Mbuna are way more aggressive than anyothers... mine was not the most aggressive, but it could have been if there was not another zebra being more aggressive, he did attack anything new I put in... they as a group like 7 killed my first front, another mbuna (colbat blue) and a peacock, that I had raised since a baby in the tank... Since I have moved them out of my tank I have lost no fish, and they have not killed each other in their new tank either... so in the long run yes, I have had that problem too...
Zebras in general are aggressive. My Red Zebras fight all day and night with my Blue Zebras. It's kinda weird though they never get nipped fins. I have them in my 150 show tank and they only seem to bother each other. They never mess with my peacocks.
my zebras seem to show the most aggression towards fellow zebras of the tank and leave the "non-mating competition" alone.
most likely more aggressive to own type becuase they are also more likely to be aggressive. They will chase and fight... you may lose a few fish may not
Zebras do not just fight during breeding. They are aggressive by nature. If you only have one zebra in the tank then he will fight with anything. Add some more zebras to the tank and he will probably fight with the other zebras and not the other fish.
