Hi
2 of my bigger endlis have reddish/bloody anal fins. I first thought it was an infection, but the fish don't seem to mind. These endlis are Nigerian. All my other endlis (guinea) don't have this problem. Is this common? I first thought it was just a coloration issue, until I started seeing the red veins in the fins. Ive tried numerous meds, but nothing seems to change. Any ideas?

What meds have you tried and did you do the full course as directed on the packaging?

how are they acting? (normal, lethargic) are they eating or not?

They are eating like pigs. Also, they dominate the tank. I have 2 medium Congicus tankmates that get beaten up daily. Both Endlis are about 18-20 inches.

I first tried Maracyn and Nitrofurazone for a couple of weeks, with the recommended water changes. I then tried some parasite meds, like Praziquantel and Metronidazole. After a couple of weeks of that, still no change. The fin has a reddish cast, and the veins and fin rays look very inflamed.
