I've had my Senegal Bichir for about 7 months now since it was about 4 inches long. Lately I've noticed that its tail is turning reddish. At first it just looked a bit rosy and I thought it was because I feed it frozen bloodworms everyday. But now the tails is turning reddish. Could it be a disease? Or is it really just because of the bloodworms?

Sounds like septicemia. Please post in the disease/poly section. With pics and water parameters. Food? Tankmates? Etc.

Definitely need photos please...

Are you feeding anything else outside of bloodworms? They aren't overly nutritous as a staple.
