a little over a month and mine has great personality, but wont look at any food i put in the tank that is not moving so i am not sure if you can pellet train them.

they kinda do both. they will lurk for a minute or so then burst around a little until they find a new spot.

that sounds neat, I'm just asking questions cause i've been considering getting one, but i'm afraid its just gonna sit there and I want something with personality.

i guess it all depends on the fish, but mine are great especially when there is food in the tank.
