State of chaos
what is the appeal of lures in the "redhead" color? The only fish I can think of that even come close are a species of tropical Pacific Grouper and Hogfish. Yet I have caught a Batrracuda on them and our guide in Florida says he catches Jacks, Goliath Grouper, Snook, and even Black Drum on it. So what gives, what's the appeal? Who else had had success with rehead lures?

The color red changes to shades of gray/black when in 3' or deeper. Red/white lures just work, I never question why the fish like them better than others. The color pattern is similar to a lot of natural fish in the respect they are dark on top, light underneath.
