Found this fella when i was catching my crays to be dropped off at the LFS. shes quite red for a P. alleni, at least what I've seen they cannot get red. Now shes not very red yet but i'll see what i can do as far as selective breeding her and what not. All of her brothers, sisters and parents are ether brown, whitish, or bluish.

What'd'ya think?

Could he just be brown and the it's the light making her look? or could i be onto something?

Not very red, but different.. More like the alabama native crays I see than an Alleni.

Oh, i was catching them out of my tank. I've only ever owned P. alleni, so i'm pretty sure that's what it is... Unless i'm totally wrong and have been keeping a different species all this time.

I've seen them brown and tan before, not quite like that though. Very pretty!
