Redline only wants real num num. help please!

hey fellas i got an empty 2m tank (length) so i thought id add a 8 inch redline there that i got.
was just wondering is it possible for him to have anything other than live food i tryed not feeding him for 2 days but that didn't work sadly when i threw in some frozen beef heart and prawns he just looked at me like he was saying are you kidding me give me something to kill.

my friends that are keeping redlines are feeding them dead food easy and my other snakeheads are eating everything from live to pellets.

advice from you guys is greatly appreciated.

hi mate , i would wait it out some more , belive me these fish will not starve themselves , try with something like a block of frozen bloodworm they useally find theese hard to resist , they can be stubborn but when he realises he is not getting anything else he will take non live , i have yet to meet a redline that would not accept frozen eventually but some are more stubbern than others

Can tell u that my redline didnt eat for days , almost 1 week i think. then when he got really hungry i tempted him with some frozen shrimp as he tasted it he noticed it was nice food and now hes eating it. i wouldnt worry to much just keep working on it.
