Hi.

I don't mean to set off land mines and all, but I'd like to know how many of you have encountered issues regarding Micropeltes going berserk on tankmates.

It's happened, I know, but I'd like some details as I want to learn more about these fish.

rarley happens until after the 12-18" mark ,that is when they become more aggresive in a tank , anything over 2ft you would be very lucky to be able to house with anything else ,unless of course you have a huge aquarium (far bigger than really big home aquarium) the more space you give them the more chilled out they seem to be

cheers col

I agree after the 12in mark they get the mean streak......the more space the better.....

yea man deff after that 12 inch mark, they need that space

Didnt see my micro going berserk on any fish yet , and hes like 14-15 inch , the catfish is doing well , he doesnt even bother it. but i guess it really depends on the induvidual .

Dude, after hearing the issues of Channa Micropeltes and Protopterus Annectens/Aethiopicus, I could safely say that they have literally outweighed the Jar in terms of aggression.

HECK, I almost forgot the Jardini issues when I read up the crap the 3 species I mentioned could pull.
