Ok, so if you havnt already read my other post, my 135, 3x2x3, cracked from the top right hand corner to the bottem left corner. I dont want to just throw it away or give it away.

I was wondering if I could replace the peice that broke with a peice of plywood? fiberglass it and reseal it just like if it was a peice of glass. Can this work? It is the back peice that gave out on me. I figured if I do this then I can make a good filter for it, like a sump. Would this work? Thank

possibly, if you framed it in to add extra support from front to back and side to side. Kinda like the factory framing that comes on All Glass Aquarium but with lumber. Re-doin tanks is always sketchy though, so you might want to give her a test run on the ground outside for a few days.

You can also just silicone another piece of glass in over the cracked piece. If you can't find any glass that is the same thickness, you can use a thinner sheet on the inside and one on the outside.
