So I'm planning on a complete redo on my tank my t5 ballast burnt out and filters too(all outlived their lifespan) I just bought 2 kessil a80 tuna sun lights 30 liters of plant substrate 2 filstar xpm filters a new heater and about $150 in plants coming next week. I got home from work and noticed a drip coming from my canopy my tank has sprung a small leak along the silicone. So I went down and order a new tank the same dimensions since I already have the stand and canopy. The tank I ordered is 60"Lx18"Wx24"T puts it roughly between 100gallons and 110 the replacement tank cost me $250 it's being built and will be ready on Thursday. So Thursday I'll be doing a new tank now.

Having to order a new tank was not on my tank redo list and I wasn't expecting to have to replace my tank I will post pictures when its complete.

I'll take a few pics of my goodies later I added another kessil a80 so 3 total.20190124_174722.jpg 20190124_174710.jpg

Stand has been rebuilt and painted, I'm picking up an acrylic corner overflow tomorrow afternoon for surface skimming and will silicone it in, im also siliconing my background and one side pane with a synthetic astroturf I've used it as background material in my aquariums before there is no leeching of harmful chemicals as its bound by stitching and not adhesives. I'll have to wait at least 24 hours for the silicone to cure. So hopefully I can get my tank wet by Friday. Here is the tank the the background and side pane set in place.

The logs on the left floated so I pulled them out to soak in a 5 gallon bucket all plants are in and my sanchezi is back in, though he looks like he is starting to get a fungal infection probably due to stress, being in a container for longer than I had hoped and the temperature being colder than I normally run the tank but he is back up to a nice 79 degrees, I will be treating him to a broad spectrum antibiotic. And monitoring his condition. The air stones are only in there temporarily while the new tank acclimates. Here is a full tank shot, still a little cloudy.

Here's a pic of my sanchezi this was from the day after he went in haven't been able to get a shot of him since he stays in his cave during the day and comes out when lights are off so haven't gotten a good shot of him since.1362309
