redoing 210!

allright guys this weekned i plan on redoing my 210

so what should i do with my fish? should i take them out and place em in buckets with the original tank water?
I plan on adding drift wood and pool filter sand in my tank so should i drain my tank and turn off my filters or sould i leave the water in and turn off the filters still to add sand with fish still in the tank or take em out?


and my question is also is their more than one kind of pool filter sand or what?
and is it ok for rays?

i got a 100g rubbermaid tub i put mine in. i add an airpump and airstones and a heater if it will take long

Basically one type of sand, different manufacturers.

Some oldies on here use it. Give them a chance to chime in.
