Well guys... I'm Apparently a unable to wrap my head around the hybridization process of a red monkey. Not that I have the time or resources to do it, but what is the "correct" route.

More so attainable. What makes a redsyn? I'd really like to see pics of some nice redsyn or red shock. Those are two different things right?

You can read my proposal here https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/super-red-monkey-diagram.732027/ . I just want to add that no one will tell you the true method of making SRM, since the fish is quite in demand and has a high cost. And also in my scheme I considered only work with faded vieja hybrid normal body shape. Some F1 hybrids (vieja synspilum x BP) were parrot-shaped and could be used in other projects.

Your post was the one I seen a few days that got me to thinking about it. a diagram.

I can see why ppl would keep the method top secret. I've just seen a few pics of fish around the Interwebz labeled as "redsyn" that didn't look like anything to special compared to a srm that I actually liked. From that diagram it looked like a redsyn was much easier to make than srm.

The first picture you posted is more along the lines of what I'm seeing elsewhere as "redsyn" that I like so much.

I'm a sucker for the parrot culls also
