Redtail and shovel nose sensitive to lack of oxygen?

Helo guys. Any one knows if tiger shovel nose and redtail (baby's) can easily die from or are sensitive to lack of oxygen? 3 of em died yesterday and other tank mates all survived. Now I'm feeling stupid not having air pump in tank but I'm still not sure of it.

Are you running any kind or filter to keep the water cycling? If so there should be some devolve oxygen in the water . But if your water is stagnant it will run out of oxygen.
