Redtail cat fish

My redtail cat seem to have these holes on his skin just behind it's head... They are starting to looking deep and stuff and looks like flesh is comming out of the holes.. Not sure as to what it is or what treatment i should start to look at..

Thanks for your response.. what did you use to treat it..
I feed him fish from the fish market.. I think i got a parasite from there... Water chages every other day
im thinking i may need to take the gravel out and splash em with boild hot water..
