I have a 17 inch redtail cats that's been alone for a year since his peacock bass friend died suddenly last December . I raised a marbled pim and a clown knife this summer there both About 11 inches the tanks only a 125 getting an indoor pond in the spring. Think they'll be any problems since my redtails been alone so long. Just started feeding him talapia he loves it cheaper than his shrimp he loves.

I think the pim would be ok if you keep the RTC well fed, the knife fish however is the perfect size and shape of a fish fillet....not a good idea :grinno:

I've had bullheads before extremely aggressive little fish we have black bullhead in ri real cool fish I got one this summer 2 lbs 13 oz my biggest ever. Be careful putting them with anything I had a tank with a crappie pickerel lg mouth and bullhead all the same size and the bullhead eventually killed everyone and they were all the same size

It really depends on the rtc. take mine for example doesnt even pay attention to smaller fish and has never eaten any of his tank mates no matter how small. BUT ive also heard of ppl having there new stock eaten in no time at all.

ya wot the **** is with that mine dose the same will just eat new fish thats put in the tank an they where ****n arowanas aswel y meeeeeeeeee
