I inherited a 26 gallon with a few fish a couple months back. The idiot that gave it to me bought a redtail catfish because it was "cool"
. Being the animal lover that I am, I realize that I am only torturing this fish by keeping it in such a small tank. It needs a large home to grow and flourish.
I would like to find someone local (I live in Peekskill NY 10566 and work in Elmsford, NY 10523) that would be willing to offer this fish a good home. It has gotten quite large during the past few months and is now between 7 and 9 inches in length (I am probably underestimating it but I have a bowe front and it is kinda hard to guage the exact size.) I am very reluctant to ship the fish so I would much rather deliver it myself. I care about this animal and want to ensure that it will be properly housed and cared for. That is why I am not giving it to a pet store for some other idiot to come in, think it's cool, and house it in a 20 gallon tank.
Please make me a reasonable offer for my Redtail. I am not so much interested in the money that I will get for it, as I am doing the right thing by the fish.
Thanks for reading my post. I look forward to making you and my fish happy!
