i lost all power due to ice storm for about 28 hrs and the redtail that i had raised for so long died today as a result of the power loss water got down to 52degrees he put up 1 good fight but he lost the battle i miss him but got a baby one this morning i had the 1 that died eating out of my hands and everything he will be missed very much

Damn that sucks. Sorry to hear that. Its such a helpless feeling when something out of your control happens like that. Hopefuly your new one will be as cool as the old one.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Everytime the power goes out, I'm sitting on the edge of my seat, getting up every half hour and stirring the surface on my tanks to make sure I have enough oxygen. Somewhere in my future I want to buy a small generator to help avoid these problems.

that really sucks...I'm sorry to hear that. I hate losing fish due to things I had no control over lost an arrowhead puffer to a severe tank leak ).

shoulda did water changes with warm water from ur tub or something to keep ur water temp higher... sorry for ur loss brotha
