Is it normal for them to to wedge them self places and act lifeless? Lol I just got him around 6 hours ago

It is normal when the fish is adjusting. I hope you are not running that heater or he will get burned.

I'd suggest learning to rotate your photos - it'd be friendlier to your readers.
 
Anybody? I turned the temp up because it was low and now he does this.

Update. With a little stress coat and a bit higher temp he seems to be okay now I see him swimming some times now. He hadn't eaten yet but I don't expect him to
 
No because my red tail just moves them around or try's to fit in one him self I have a coffee can in there for him but he doesn't use it. Its plastic of course
 
All he does is sit on the peice of drift wood. I got him to eat a Peice of night Crawler but I had to put it infront of him he reminds me of my red tail whn she was a baby the only way shed eat is if the food went into her cave. Now she comes to the top and eats out of my hand. When the lights go out the shovel nose comes out swims so i ttlhink she's fine. I'm gonna do a large water change in the morning because my redtail made a huge mess out of boiled cray fish
