Redworm culture finally producing

I just put some banana peels and veggie scraps just now and I finally saw some baby worms in my redworm culture. I don't know why it took so long this time but they finally started producing. Now soon the population will explode and I will have lots of free food.

I thought about doing this myself, but I couldn't find an apartment friendly way. How long have you had it set up?

About two months. I did it in my classroom with a fish styro. I am using the two rubbermade tub method. Definitely apartment friendly.
